This week we are discussing the history of communication and the different communication streams. For this assignment, watch the audio and visual coverage of a live event that occurred within the last year (examples: presidential debates, commencement speech).

Next, read about the same event in a newspaper or in an online magazine format. How does the medium (video, audio, newspaper) impact your understanding of the event? Did you remember the information better by viewing the event or by reading about the event?
